GUIDE FOR ASSESSORS

Thank you for agreeing to become a reviewer for Oscar Print.

  1. In order to make the evaluation process as transparent as possible, we have drawn up an evaluation sheet. Therefore, please note your comments (proposals for changes, any suggestions for improvement of the document received for evaluation) on the here.
  2. We would like to point out that your proposals for changes to the manuscript, your amendments, will be brought to the attention of the author(s) in the case of collective volumes.
  3. At the beginning of your report please write a summary of your manuscript. Please highlight the contribution that the manuscript once published can make to the literature (novelty, style of approach, unpublished documents).
  4. In drafting your report, please bear in mind a few points, such as:
  5. Does the manuscript meet the expectations of specialists in the field to which the author refers?
  6. Does the author master the subject matter?
  7. Is the manuscript of academic standard?
  8. Readers will be treated to an interesting read that brings new developments in the field into the debate?
  9. Is the bibliography up to date, correctly cited? Does the author demonstrate a good knowledge of the literature?
  10. The manuscript review process is confidential. For this reason the reviewer is not allowed to disclose the content of the article or the report he/she prepares, except to the editorial staff.
  11. Any suspicions of fraud/plagiarism may be referred to the editorial office in charge of the manuscript for verification.
  12. The process of reading and evaluating a manuscript should not exceed 60 days.
